P.E. and Strength classes are to report directly to the old gym tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10th.
College Express: Sophomores interested in the Criminal Justice program or the Early Childhood program must create an account and sign up today with Ms. Hull for the DACC Placement.
Dual Enrollment students:
Sophomores - you must create a DACC account, do the orientation, and notice - and then sign up today with Ms. Hull for the placement test.
Juniors - If you have an account, please complete the Notice and then sign up today with Ms. Hull for the DACC placement.
There will be a Leo meeting on March 10th.
Westville High School FAFSA Night. Wednesday March 11, 5:30 - 7:00, in the Media Center.
Student Council Members, We will be having our end of the year lunch next Friday,
March 13, at 11:00 at Jocko's. The sign-up sheet is outside Ms. Neuman’s room. There is no need for permission slips, just sign up.
The next book club meeting is Tuesday, March 24th. All students are welcome to stop in and talk about books and eat cheese with us. Bring the book that you are currently reading. See Mrs. Balgeman with questions.

Seniors, you have LESS than a week to get your senior pictures and baby pictures into Mr. Sollars.
Any student council member who has their extra volunteer service hours done and wants to run for an officer position of: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, or Historian. Please see Mr. Reynolds to obtain your application and speech forms.

Seniors, now is the time to apply for a number of scholarships offered at Westville High School including scholarships awarded by the Westville Community Academic Foundation. All applications will be evaluated across five areas according to any additional criteria set forth with a particular scholarship. The five areas of review include: academic performance, school-community involvement, need, aspirations, and overall persuasiveness. For extended essay responses it is suggested to type in a word processing program (like Microsoft Word or Google Docs), save, and then copy and paste into the extended essay response tab. Extended responses should be limited to a range of 500-750 words. Applications are due Wednesday March 11, 2026 at noon for consideration.
The DACC Placement Test is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th - 1st hour in the Media Center. Please have all the accounts/forms filled out before March 6th. Sign up with Ms. Hull for the Placement Test.

Those who need to take this placement test:
1. Any Sophomore or Junior - planning on doing Dual Enrollment for the first time or who needs to update his/her math score. *Math scores are good for one year only.
2. Any Sophomore who plans on taking Criminal Justice or Early Childhood in the College Express programs next school year.
3. Any SENIOR planning on attending DACC in the summer or fall who either has not taken the placement tests at all or needs to update his/her math score.
The Eastern Illinois University representative will be at WHS on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to discuss EIU opportunities. It will be 9:05 - 9:30 am. Sign up outside Ms. Hull's office. Seniors who have been accepted may touch base if you have any questions!
