Congratulations to the scholastic bowl team for their victories over Salt Fork and Watseka last night!!
Band students, report time tonight is 5:40. Pizza will be at 5:15.
There will be a STRIPES meeting after school today in the Commons room.

There is a Leo Meeting Tuesday, February 10th.
The US Air Force will have a Meet and Greet with Free Pizza & Pop. It will be on Tuesday, February 24th during both lunches. Sign up outside of Ms. Hull’s office if you would like to attend. It is open to all WHS students.
The next prom meeting will be Monday, February 2nd after school.
The Honors Roll Donut Celebration will be on Wednesday morning February 4th.
Pictures for all winter sports will be taken February 4th at 2:30. Order forms can be picked up in the main office.

Freshmen, Vermilion Advantage is putting on a Career Blitz. There are 30 spots available. It is February 25th at Danville High School from 11 am - 2 pm. There will be 13 career stations to explore. This is not your average career fair. If you are interested, pick up a prearranged form from Tracy. When you return the form to TRACY, then you may sign up to attend the Career Blitz! This is open to the first 30 freshmen.
Any student who is interested in teaching K-6, please see Ms. Hull for information regarding the IL Reading Council Conference. It is on March 12-13, 2026.
There are some free DACC textbooks in the Media Center provided by Ms. Hull and students. See Mrs. Balgeman with questions.
Students, there are gloves and hats available in the main foyer for anyone who needs them. They are provided by “Carol’s Kids”.
