WHS DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tomorrow is ACT and PSAT testing. Students, you must bring your charged chromebook to school. Be sure and eat a good breakfast. The school will be serving biscuits and gravy and it is free to all students throughout the school year.
Student Council forms are due today with 25 legible signatures. The election will soon follow.
The last ACT prep class is today from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Snacks will be provided and there is no cost for this prep class.
Are you interested in some volunteer hours? Please see Ms. Neuman about helping out on April 15 at the Family Reading Night at Judith Giacoma; you would have to be there at 5:15.
Career Expo at DACC. April 23, 2026, 9-10:30 am. A prearranged form is necessary - due by April 17th. You must report to WHS for 1st hour. You will be dismissed by intercom at 8:35 am. Please have a resume ready. Dress appropriately. If you need WHS transportation, please indicate this on the prearranged form.
Senior library books are due on May 1st. All other library books are due on May 8th. Please clear your account with Mrs. Balgeman by these dates.
Reminder to Dual Enrollment Students:
1. DACC will not enroll you in Summer 2026 or Fall 2027 if you have an outstanding balance. Please pay your bill before you create your schedules.
2. DACC will not enroll you if you have not completed the Orientation and/or the Notice of Agreement. These would be found in the first email DACC sent or on your MyDACC.
3. If you have any questions, please let Ms. Hull know.
4. DACC will not officially open up until next week.
Current Sophomores - Doing Dual Enrollment - Sign up outside Ms. Hull's office to discuss your DACC choices for Summer and Fall 2026.
Current Seniors - Planning on attending DACC in the Summer and/or Fall of 2026. The prearranged forms for DACC DAYS are in Ms. Tracy's office. The prearranged forms are due by April 24th.
DACC DAYS is on May 4th. This is the date when you will go to DACC to sign up for your DACC classes for Summer and Fall 2026, obtain picture IDs, etc.
Juniors and Seniors: You have been emailed the One Click College Admit. The easy, stress-free way to be admitted to Illinois public universities and community colleges. No Fees. No Essays! Just complete the OPT-IN form and get ready to receive admission offers next fall. Please fill out with a parent or guardian.
