Congrats to the scholastic bowl team for victories over both Milford and Iroquois West.
The Chorus will be presenting the annual Sweetheart and Dessert concert this Sunday at 2:30 pm in the Old gym. Bleacher tickets will be sold at the door for $4. Doors will open at 2 pm. Our theme this year is Disney. Come join us for an afternoon of magic.
Teachers and Students. WHS will do a TEST Nav check for the ACT/PACT on Thursday, February 19th . (10-15 minutes) Followed by the 5 Essential Survey for the student body. (10-15 minutes) All students must have their own school issued chromebooks charged and with them! Students will not be borrowing them from the library.
There is some jewelry in the main office that has been found in the last few weeks, including a couple of rings that were found yesterday. If you have lost a piece of jewelry, please come to the main office to claim it. You must be able to identify it before it will be given to you.
Project Success Students: Project Success is presenting a Whimsy by Design Door Hanger Paint Night! February 26th. You and your family must sign up by February 18th. See Miss Neuman for details!!
The US Air Force will have a Meet and Greet with Free Pizza & Pop. It will be on Tuesday, February 24th during both lunches. Sign up outside of Ms. Hull’s office if you would like to attend. It is open to all WHS students.
There will be a Health Profession Day at DACC MARCH 5 from 8:30 to 12:20.
This is for Juniors and Seniors who are interested in Healthcare.
There are 15 spots available. You must get a prearranged form from Tracy and it is due no later than February 25th. Once you have turned in your signed prearranged form you may sign up for the Health Profession Day.
The Eastern Illinois University representative will be at WHS on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to discuss EIU opportunities. It will be 9:05 - 9:30 am. Sign up outside Ms. Hull's office. Seniors who have been accepted may touch base if you have any questions!
