The final night for auditions for "The Shadowed Stories"- A Cursed Play is tonight at 2:30 in Mrs. Strain's Room. No experience necessary. Looking forward to seeing you.
There is a yearbook meeting today after school..
Anyone who is interested in joining Project Success needs to see Miss Neuman ASAP because we are going to Illini Skateland next Tuesday, January 27, for an after-school activity. It will be from 3:30 to 6:30. There will be skating, pizza, and soda for each student. Come get your sign-up sheets and permission slips from Miss Neuman
All seniors, juniors, and sophomores with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher should have received a National Honor Society application in your email. This form must be completed by January 26th for consideration. Contact Mrs. Pinter if you have any questions.
Interested in the Medical Field? A Carle Volunteering Representative will be here today to discuss volunteering opportunities. Students will be dismissed to the Media Center for the last 10 minutes of 1st hour and the first 10 minutes of 2nd hour. If you have any questions, please let Ms. Hull know.
Jostens will be here on January 22nd to deliver tankards and announcements at 7:30 a.m.

The next book club meeting will be January 27th.
Freshmen, Vermilion Advantage is putting on a Career Blitz. There are 30 spots available. It is February 25th at Danville High School from 11 am - 2 pm. There will be 13 career stations to explore. This is not your average career fair. If you are interested, pick up a prearranged form from Tracy. When you return the form to TRACY, then you may sign up to attend the Career Blitz! This is open to the first 30 freshmen.
Any student who is interested in teaching K-6, please see Ms. Hull for information regarding the IL Reading Council Conference. March 12-13, 2026.
There are some free DACC textbooks in the Media Center provided by Ms. Hull and students. See Mrs. Balgeman with questions.
FCA will meet on Thursday mornings at 7:15 a.m. in the Commons!
Students, there are gloves and hats available in the main foyer for anyone who needs them. They are provided by “Carol’s Kids”.
