Westville School District is pleased to release the following information for student registration information.

Registration Dates and Times

Westville School District will begin student registration July 31^st and August 1^st. Parents are encouraged to fill out forms electronically in advance, print off, and sign to avoid registration wait times. All forms will be available for onsite registration on the following dates if needed.

July 31 - 12-2PM and 4-6PM (Students last name A-L)

August 1 - 12-2PM and 4-6PM (Students last name M-Z)

New for Registration 2024-25

There are a few new items for this year’s registration so please be aware of the following changes:

All Students Must Provide Proof of Residency

Consistent with the practice in other Vermilion County school districts, Westville will be implementing proof of residency checks for all district students. This ensures that local resources meant to support local students are used appropriately.

Two New Forms Can Be Filled Out in Advance

Parents may wish to fill out the Dental Consent Form and the Trainer Services Permission Form in advance. This allows students to receive a free dental cleaning and screening and access free athletic training services. These services are available to all students at Westville and participation is voluntary.

Adjusted Parking Set Up During Registration at Giacoma

Due to construction on the north parking lot, all parking and traffic will be directed to the south part of Giacoma (behind the school and along the student playground to the west). This will allow construction to continue without delay and allow for air conditioning, open spaces, and quick registration processing for families.

Fast Pass Registration

Avoid long registration times by filling out attached registration forms in advance and proceeding straight to checkout during onsite registration.

DACC Transportation Form - High school students accessing DACC campus during the day

Consent to Drug Screening Form - Students enrolled in athletics, drivers, DACC -if applicable

Registration Fees

$35 Elementary Registration Fee

$40 Junior High and High School Registration Fee

$20 High School Activity Fee for all High School Students

$100 High School Drivers Education Fee (only if applicable to course enrollment)

$40 DACC Access Fee (applicable only for DACC courses- College Express, Dual Enrollment, Middle College)

Student Fee Waiver Applications

Families in need of financial Assistance may wish to apply for school fee waivers by completing the attached student fee waiver form in order to determine eligibility.

School Lunch Program

Westville School District currently offers free school meals (breakfast and lunch) to ALL students for the upcoming school year. There is no application process necessary for any student to participate in this program. However, families in need of financial assistance should apply for a school fee waiver.

High School and Junior High School Registration for New Students to the District

New students to the district attending the high school or junior high should call in advance to make special registration appointments with the school office after August 5^th. The telephone number for the high school is 267-2183 and the number for the junior high school is 267-2185. Students who attended at the district before do NOT need to make special registration arrangements, only students who are new to the district.

Pre-K Screening

Families with children birth to age 3 are eligible to participate in a variety of Pre-K screenings over the course of the school year. Contact Danville School District (the county Pre-K service provider) to secure a screening date at (217) 444-1011 and/or (217) 444-1051.
