The WHS Men's and Women's Golf team competed yesterday at the VVC Tournament at Harrison Park GC. There were a ton of great things done by both of these groups! The day was started by a Hole in One by Kiptyn Appl on Hole 6. This helped lead him to his career low round. We had multiple players have a career day whether that's on 18 or just nine holes. The day was capped by both teams finishing 4th in their side. WHS had two golfers make the All-Conference team. For the boys, it was Kiptyn Appl and for the girls, it was Piper Heiser! Congratulations to the both of you! Both teams will compete next week in Regionals with the girls on Tuesday and Boys on Wednesday!

GRHS/WHS soccer practice will begin Monday August 12th from 4:30-6:30 at Georgetown High School. Any WHS student needing a ride to practice will need to report to WHS at 4:10 for the bus to take you to Georgetown. When practice concludes the bus will bring you back to WHS.

Mother Nature did it again today and looks like it'll be active again tomorrow. Golf camp is CANCELLED for today and tomorrow. Today the course is too wet to play or practice and tomorrow is calling for rain all day. When the course opens up, the players are encouraged to still go out and practice or play if they can. Golf will have a meeting on Sunday Aug. 4 at 6pm in the Cafeteria. Thank you to those that came out this week! Had a total of 17 show up on Tuesday!
