On March 16, Tigers Baseball did it again by defeating Leroy 8-4. Westville was led offensively by Cameron Steinbaugh hitting 3 doubles, 2 runs, & an RBI. Defensively, Cade Schaumburg got the W while pitching 5 inn & allowing 0 earned runs & compiling 6 Ks. Great job gentleman as you were the named the Players of the Game.

It has been a very busy month for our Westville musicians. We started with the Chorus Sweetheart Concert (2-11-24), had the Band's Winter concert (3-3-24), had many students participate in Solo and Ensemble Contest (3-9-24), and this last Thursday (4-14-24) our Westville Choir and Band Students were among 115 County musicians who participated in the Vermilion County Principal's Association Music Festival. We practiced all day and performed that evening. What a wonderful experience!

Westville Tigers Baseball makes it 4-0 on the season by defeating Charleston 3-2. The game had some great plays by Easton Bolin playing a great Centerfield where the kid makes it look easy.

Tigers are not scared of the rain!!! On March 14, Westville's Zach Russell proved this vs Villa Grove by going 3 for 3 with 3 runs and 2 RBIs. He was also the winning pitcher which made him the Player of the Game.
Big shout out to the Lady Tigers JV team tonight with their win over Bismarck. The players that played did great and the rest of the team did great with all the support throughout the game. Us coaches are very proud of these young athletes and how they represent WHS. 🧡🖤🥎

On March 13, Westville Varsity Baseball Team went to Danville Stadium vs Danville High & defeated the Vikings 10-1. Three pitchers - Cade Schaumburg, Matt Darling, & Ben Johnson threw a combined No-Hitter while Easton Barney came through with 3 hits, 3 RBI's & and Run.

In the Tuscola varsity game, Zach Russell was on fire at the plate while collecting 2hits & 5RBI's; while Cameron Steinbaugh also had 2 hits with 2RBI's & 3Runs. Cameron was also the winning picture while pitching 4 innings,giving up 0 runs, & 7Ks & his 1st Immaculate innings
The Westville Tigers Baseball Teams (JV & Varsity) were ready to go on March 12th as they traveled to Tuscola for 2 games. The 1st varsity game was a 5 inning 12 - 0 victory for Westville and then the JV won 8 - 0. Great job boys.
