The Singing Wildcats did a wonderful job getting everyone in the Holiday Spirit at the Wildcat Holiday Bazar this morning.

7th grade students have been designing projects using TinkerCad throughout the 1st quarter. They are finally getting to see their creations come to life fresh off the 3d printer. Many more to come in the near future!

Westville Jr High Baseball defeated Tuscola 8 - 5 in the 1sr round of Regionals. They play St Joe tomorrow (9/25) at 4:30 pm at St Joe. The bright spots begins with Owen Atwood who made some great plays at shortstop late in the game and he caught 3 innings at catcher where he once again did a fantastic job. This effort earned Owen the Defensive Player of the Game. On the Offensive side of the ball, Jayden Baxter was 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. The effort won him the Offensive Player of the Game. Ryder Burns earned the game ball for pitching the final 4 innings and only gave up 1 run and 3 Ks.
The Westville Wildcats have won their 3rd straight game. Last evening was the 8th grade night and they were pumped up to play as they defeated Rossville 17-2 in just 3 innings. Ryder Burns took the mound and struck out 9 players and gave up just 1 hit. This would earn him the Defensive Player of the Game. Owen Atwood took care of business on the offensive side as he went 3 for 3 including 2 Home Runs and a triple. He also knocked in 5 RBIs and scored 3 Runs. This effort would earn him the Offensive Player of the Game.

The Westville Jr High Baseball team is now 2-2 after beating Chrisman. The Wildcats had 13 hits and won the game 14-1. Ryder Burns earned the Defensive Player of the Game as he threw 4 innings and allowed only 1 hit/1 run. For the Offensive Player of the Game goes to Owen Atwood. Owen was 2 for 2 with a single, triple and a walk. In addition, he scored 3 runs and had 1 RBI. Congrats boys.
Carson Roberts earned The Defensive Play of the Heritage Game with his catch in centerfield in the last inning. Way to go Carson
Tomorrow, Friday August 23, WJHS will be having a safety day. We will be running all of our safety drills. This will include a fire drill, storm drill, and a lock-down drill. We will be running these drills throughout the day.
Westville Jr High Wildcats Baseball played Heritage and won by the score of 20-7. Great job boys! The Wildcats brought their bats and hope to continue this as Chrisman comes our way on Thursday. Owen Atwood was the Offensive Player of the Game by going 2 for 3 including 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored. The Defensive Player of the Game goes to Carson Roberts for his jaw dropping catch made in centerfield. Stay tuned for a picture Thursday night of Carson.
